Robin Colston began programming the first version of School Lunch on an Apple ][ plus computer in 1983. Since then, there have been five complete rewrites bringing School Lunch accounting up-to-date from single user to multi-school systems. We have been here from the beginning and still offer one of the easiest to use, inexpensive systems on the market.

Lee Colston spent his entire career working in the public school system, finishing as a principal at an elementary school in Logan, Utah. He needed an easier way to protect the identity of free and reduced children without the cumbersome use of tickets, roll books, etc. He convinced his son, Robin, to embark on the project shortly after graduating Utah State University. Lee's ideas were the humble beginning of the business and they have fueled it's existence for the past 27 years.

After 27 years of helping those he loved the most, those who educate our children, Lee has answered his last tech call and is finally enjoying his retirement at the age of 86.
